Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon Season 2
Oshimeter
Synopsis
One man's obsession with vending machines runs so deep that he dies clutching a soda can, and gets reincarnated as an actual vending machine. That's the premise, and somehow it works way better than it has any right to. This 12-episode TV series is the second season, picking up after Boxxo, yes, the vending machine has a name, and his companion Lammis barely survived a fight with the Netherlord, one of the Demon Lord's generals. Now they're regrouping in the village of Clearflow Lake, where Boxxo has become weirdly essential to the community by dispensing everything from snacks to battle supplies. The catch is he can only communicate by saying phrases that would appear on a real vending machine, and he upgrades his abilities by earning coins, which adds this fun economic strategy layer to the whole thing. He's basically a support class that runs on capitalism. The vibe is cozy and absurd in equal measure, there's genuine stakes and dungeon combat, but also long stretches of a sentient box figuring out how to be useful when he can't move on his own. If you liked the creative problem-solving in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, or the way So I'm a Spider, So What? made a weird protagonist concept genuinely compelling, this scratches a similar itch. Fans of KonoSuba will appreciate the comedic tone, though this leans more wholesome than chaotic. It's a strange little show that commits fully to its bit, and that commitment is what makes it charming.

Such a weird concept… but somehow it just works 😂📦✨ The world feels super detailed, Boxxo is as lovable as ever, and S2 picks up right where it left off. A fun, cozy start that already has me excited for what’s next! 💛
The fighting scenes are really animated well and it was really unexpected from Hevee to be that good. The consistent details and animation really shows the characters actions and expressions.
The animation is consistent and detailed that its enough to really understand what the characters are expressing and going through.
The characters are really unique in there own way that it surprising that every character blends well together. I love the expressions and actions its so detailed.
The plot is now getting tense. The animation for the tense scene is superb because of the attention of detail. Boxxo is really box of surprises.
The details of each character real shows their expression and actions really emphasizing the characters traits. The plot is steadily progressing and the pacing is good that won't get you bored.
I love the attention to detail especially the actions of the characters like you can see the smallest actions and expressions.
The details of animations is really superb along with camera panning, it makes the scenes more tense and emphasizes on the situation being shown.
This is episode really shows how common anime tropes are still funny in this day and age. Its still funny and doesn't really get old
I love the plot because of how random it can be sometimes but also predictable. Its also because of how out place Boxxo is in the setting.
The animation is so detailed and and smooth that the details and actions of each characters is smooth and clear. I like how bright and bubbly Lammis is.
Still an interesting and weird premise but animation quality did not degrade whatsover. The plot progress is good and doesn't really feel rushed
This is a really weird but interesting premise. But, I really love how detailed the elements are, such quality lets you really see the fine details of everything.
What a great episode and ending. Now on to season 3—because I don't think it's going to end like this! Haha
This was one of the best episodes of the season, in my opinion. It has a dark and cruel story behind it, and now I'm really looking forward to the next one.
I love contests!! I like Shirley's character—she's more noble and likable than she seems. Great episode!
I felt bad for the level and its biodiversity, but it was a great episode. It ended with a good culinary rivalry, haha
I really like these descriptions of the different floors. Each floor really is a whole different world. As the story unfolds, I’ve come to appreciate certain characters more—even that boot fetishist, haha.
Oh, yes! I love the new and quirky characters! I won't say anything, but you have to watch this episode because it's the cutest thing of the season.
This episode was definitely a roller coaster ride. Check it out—it's worth it. I'm feeling both angry and sad.
