The episode starts quite literally with a bang, the animation is decent, and the art style is quite simple. The pacing is good at keeping the viewer engaged. The characters have also been nicely portrayed. The emperor seemed to be a little ruthless initially, but that presumption disappeared for me as the episode continued. I also like Shouxue's character quite a lot, gotta love strong female characters who don't get swayed!
Okay! I'm enjoying this series. It may make you feel like apothecary dairies since it has kind of same plot(not entirely) BUT this one would be different! The animation and visuals were amazing and I like how they added dark secrets of the palace in first episode itself to keep audience engaged! That ending wasn't expected! 👀
pretty interesting mythical plot. the way the voice actors directed with a different period way of talking to show their generation is also interesting. the court drama is typical though
