👀 SPOILER-FREE SUMMARY

Ranma ½ (2024) wastes no time shifting from household chaos to school-ground pandemonium. Episode 2 throws Ranma and Akane into the gauntlet of Furinkan High, where absurd martial arts challenges and romantic misunderstandings collide at full speed. The introduction of Tatewaki Kuno — self-proclaimed kendo prodigy and insufferable romantic — injects a new layer of rivalry and comedic tension into an already volatile dynamic. Expect MAPPA's signature fluid action choreography paired with rapid-fire comedy beats as Ranma's gender-swapping curse creates increasingly tangled situations. The episode leans hard into the ecchi and slapstick roots of the source material while threading genuine frustration between its leads. The pacing is relentless, stacking misunderstandings on top of each other without letting the energy dip. A strong early-season character introduction episode.
