I personally haven't finished the original but I already love how faithful the artstyle looks and gives it a modern cutesy feel. It does feel a bit too bright at times, however. The fights feel even more fluid than the original (thank you, modern animation!) and the special fx gives it extra character too. An overall strong debut episode for an adaptation.
