Super chill ep but kinda wholesome. Shows the team winding down and the shop thriving, plus a small side story that adds depth without drama. Not plot-heavy, but nice vibes and a bit of surprise—good for a relaxed watch.

Pretty hilarious, I should say. They really behave like humans, and Sabu being a gamer? Dope. Glad he finally has someone to talk to about gaming. And that half-portion ramen idea? Smart move. It was all fun watching them.

Episode Context

Sitting one-third into the twelve-episode run, Episode 4 builds on Tamako's growing comfort at the shop established across the first three episodes, shifting attention from integration to personal well-being and deeper bonds with the cat staff. It serves as a transitional chapter, solidifying the status quo before the season's second act likely introduces new complications or characters. The nostalgic final segment suggests the show is beginning to layer in backstory that could pay off in later episodes.
