It’s still chill but adds nice depth—focus on service over taste is a cool twist, plus some light character growth. The humor lands, and the new additions keep it fresh. Cozy + slightly more meaningful than the usual intro eps.

As usual, it focused more on workplace stuff—the daily routine of running a ramen shop. They had an interesting guest visit too. I bet he wanted to see how good the ramen really is. And I like how each cat has its own personality. It’s slowly building that ‘found family’ feeling.

Episode Context

With Tamako now settled into her role at the cat-run restaurant after the first two episodes established the premise, episode three shifts focus toward the day-to-day operational chaos and creative problem-solving that will likely define the season's comedic engine. This installment deepens the ensemble dynamic, especially Bunzo's role, and introduces new recurring elements like the allergic handyman. Sitting at the quarter mark of a 12-episode run, it builds the foundational workplace comedy rhythms that later episodes will escalate and riff on.
