This episode was the best so far, but definitely wasn't an easy watch. The whole atmosphere and subject matter of the show is very dark, but this one in particular was quite gory and upsetting. Well handled, though.
I found this one pretty tough to get through. The show really didn't hold back here, and I could feel the tension getting heavier as things started to get more serious. I liked how it kept pushing the characters into difficult situations without losing the emotional side of the story. A tough episode, but one that shows why this story is worth sticking with.
It's crazy how good this first arc is. It’s definitely one of the more messed up anime I’ve watched, but the writing keeps you glued to the screen. You genuinely root for them to survive this hell. Every time the guards are on screen, my blood boils. The tension is consistently top tier and well paced.
