EPISODE REVIEWS
The character moments were really good here. I liked seeing the difference between someone who only depends on himself and someone who would risk everything for other people. It was a slower episode compared to the earlier ones, but it gave the story and characters more depth. Definitely an episode that makes you want to see where the group goes from here.
The bond between everyone in cell 206 is incredible and a very emotionally satisfying watch. Sakuragi's backstory was tragic and well told, making him even more likeable. A compelling watch for sure.
The backstory hits hard. The show excels at portraying this suffocating atmosphere of dread. Even with the villains cackling in the distance like comic book bad guys, the emotional weight of what these kids are going through feels incredibly real.
