EPISODE REVIEWS

Another very dark one. The horrific moments are balanced out with genuine humanity from the inmates, though, and the sacrifices they are willing to make for each other are incredibly moving. The plot is moving along nicely. Great watch.

I liked how this episode showed what the boys were willing to do for each other. The theme of loyalty and sacrifice has been there from the start, but it still works because the characters make those moments feel genuine. It was another strong episode, and I’m interested to see how their bond continues to grow.

The suspense of their situation feels so heavy. It's executing its themes perfectly and keeping me on edge. I honestly teared up when Maeda took that brutal beating from the guards and seeing Sakuragi tear up too made the whole scene even more emotional. I hope karma catches up with the doctor and Ishihara and repays them twofold for everything they've done.
