Episode Context

Coming right off Ash's arrival in Kalos and his initial meeting with Clemont and Bonnie in episode one, this episode deepens the world-building by introducing Professor Sycamore and the concept of Mega Evolution, both of which become central pillars of the entire 93-episode run.
