Episode Context

Sitting just three episodes into a 93-episode run, this follows Ash's arrival in Lumiose City and his decision to challenge the Kalos League alongside new companions Clemont and Bonnie. It continues the early-season foundation work of establishing team chemistry and introducing regional Pokémon before the cast expands further. Notably, it bridges the gap before Serena officially joins the group, setting the stage for her upcoming debut and first Pokémon selection.
