Karna is such a disaster compared to Orla and seeing them work together on those ancient poké ball mysteries made the factory visit feel like it actually mattered for the main plot

michiru_kaioh_370
Using a boomerang ball just to have it hit you in the face is such a Roy move and seeing him get chased by those weezing was pure chaos

I was genuinely worried for a second that Orla might actually take that job offer and stay at the factory with Karna, especially since she looks so exhausted keeping the Brave Olivine running every single day. Seeing her decide to keep traveling and discovering new things with the Rising Volt Tacklers made me so happy because the ship wouldn't last a day without her

The bomb bomb ball is basically a safety hazard and it makes you wonder why Karna even thought that was a good idea for catching pokemon even if Roy looked funny using it

Liko looking so stressed out about Orla potentially leaving the crew was the cutest thing but seeing Orla fix that vent to handle the galarian weezing proved she belongs on the ship

Watching the crew argue about who breaks the ship the most made me laugh because they really do treat Orla like a one woman repair shop and she deserves more credit

It's so annoying how the crew always dumps so much work on Orla, but then I saw her totally transform, eyes wide with excitement, geeking out over all the cool machinery at the factory. That's my girl, finding joy in what she loves, even when everyone else is being lazy!

I really thought Orla was going to ditch the crew for a second and her bond with Karna was actually so sweet to watch

Getting a job offer at the factory was a cool moment and it was nice to see Orla stick with the airship crew instead

Orla choosing the airship over that factory job made me so happy, she definitely belongs with the crew on the Brave Olivine

Watching two female engineers just geek out over machinery and fixing the factory was actually really refreshing and it made the whole episode feel so wholesome and grounded

Roy messing up with the prototype balls was okay but having the plot pretend Orla might leave felt forced and it dragged down the fun parts of the workshop trip

Karna is absolutely chaotic and that boomerang ball she made is so funny even if it seems like a terrible idea for actually catching anything in the wild

I really appreciated finding out Orla used to work in a shipyard in Hoenn because it made her feel way more like a real person and not just a mechanic on the ship

Karna is such a disaster but in the best way possible and her factory is a total mess. Seeing Orla jump in and just start fixing everything with her Magby was so satisfying, especially since we finally got that backstory about her time in Hoenn. I wish the ancient pokeball hunt moved faster but this was a nice break for character building
suzaku_kururugi_172's avatar
suzaku_kururugi_172
Orla fixing the Galarian Weezing issue at the factory really proved how much of a genius she is and why the Rising Volt Tacklers would be totally lost without her around to help

Karna is such a disaster with her messy workshop and weird inventions, but her passion for making those experimental Poké Balls is actually pretty cool.

Karna being such a messy disaster is so funny and she is the perfect opposite of how careful Orla is with the engines

Seeing those ridiculous prototype balls from Karna was hilarious and that boomerang ball hitting her in the face is definitely the funniest thing this week

The way Magby helped with the mass production was so cool to me because it showed how Orla uses her pokemon as partners in her engineering work instead of just for battling

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off 'The Stolen Treasure,' which centered on an ancient Poké Ball theft and raised the stakes around rare Poké Ball lore, this episode pivots to a quieter exploration of that same theme through Orla's craftsmanship lens. It deepens the crew dynamics aboard the Brave Olivine while giving an underutilized team member meaningful screen time. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into 'Slip and Crash! A Mystery Pokémon?!,' which shifts back to higher-energy territory with new challenges emerging on the ship.
