EPISODE REVIEWS

Watching the kids struggle against a Bronzor while Friede just stands there was frustrating because Captain Pikachu always ends up doing the heavy lifting in the end anyway and it feels repetitive

Episode Context

Coming off the character-driven warmth of 'As Long as I'm with My Friends,' episode 28 pivots toward the show's central mystery by pushing the ancient Poké Ball storyline forward through a new contact, Tepen. It serves as connective tissue between the team's recent bonding arc and the upcoming 'Orla and the Poké Ball Smith,' which promises deeper revelations about these artifacts. This is a setup-heavy but engaging chapter that expands the world and introduces key information the Rising Volt Tacklers will need going forward.
