Polteageist starting a whole fight club because it heard Dot talking about Shuckle juice was the funniest thing this show has done lately and seeing the Pokémon hang out at night without the trainers was great

Episode Context

Coming off the more technical and craft-focused 'Orla and the Poké Ball Smith,' episode 30 downshifts into a lighthearted shipboard interlude that deepens the group's chemistry without advancing major plot threads. It functions as a breather episode, giving the Rising Volt Tacklers room to interact in low-pressure circumstances. The tone pivots in the following episode, 'Song Within the Mist,' which signals a return to atmospheric exploration and narrative momentum.
