Hamber pulling out a Bloodmoon Ursaluna was the last thing anyone expected and the way it just tanked those hits made the younger Explorers look like amateurs

Hamber really saw right through Sango during that flashback and knowing she was just a lonely kid looking for excitement makes her constant bratty attitude make so much more sense

Hamber calling out the others for being lazy with those spheres was great and it shows how much he actually cares about the old ways of training
l_mystery's avatar

The Rising Volt Tacklers getting those coordinates for Rakua makes it feel like we are finally entering the endgame and I am so ready to see them reach the finish line
master_kohga's avatar

The team being back together at the shipyard felt so good, and seeing the star map lead them toward the uncharted regions was the perfect way to cap off their reunion

That Mewtwo Y segment at the end was such a cool surprise and seeing it just crush satellites in space really puts the scale of legendary power into perspective for the new fans

Those Strong Spheres are genuinely messed up to watch because of how the Pokemon look so strained and the way that Cetitan was acting looked so painful during the arena battle

I still cant believe Hamber pulled out a Bloodmoon Ursaluna and that thing looked absolutely terrifying when it used that Blood Moon beam against Mega Medicham and just walked through those psychic attacks

sailor_galaxia_390
Bloodmoon Ursaluna appearing hit me hard because that thing is terrifyingly strong and seeing it just tank hits from a Mega Evolution was unreal
waterblight_ganon_299's avatar
waterblight_ganon_299
My stomach turned when Ursaluna fired that Blood Moon beam because of how much damage it did and Hamber just walking away into the mist without a word was such a cold exit

Hamber might have lost the physical fight against Agate but he definitely won the moral argument by showing her that Mega Evolution is a million times stronger than those fake purple spheres anyway
tabun_titan's avatar

That Blood Moon attack looked so devastating when it literally blasted through layers of rock and Hamber is easily the most intimidating trainer we have seen so far
tijo_283's avatar
tijo_283
Hamber walked away into the fog like a total boss after proving that raw power means nothing without a real connection to your Pokemon

I really felt for Agate during those flashbacks and it makes sense why she followed Hamber in the first place
diantha_329's avatar
diantha_329
I was actually shocked when Agate pulled out Mega Evolution because it really makes you wonder if she still has a real bond with Medicham despite using those weird spheres
subaru_sufferer's avatar

Hamber is a total force of nature for taking on three other Explorers at once and that Dusknoir using Trick Room to mess with Medicham was such a smart move to show off his experience
sailor_aluminum_seiren_391's avatar
sailor_aluminum_seiren_391
Dot looked so heartbroken watching that trainer treat his Cetitan like a tool and it really drives home how much these spheres are ruining everything
darunia_267's avatar
darunia_267
Finding those coordinates for Rakua at the end finally makes the whole journey feel like it is coming together and I really felt that sense of progress. Seeing everyone back on the ship together felt so cozy after their separate journeys, and Murdock bringing out the mochi for the Maushold was such a cute way to celebrate everyone being back in one place
tulip's avatar

That Trick Room play was the smartest thing Hamber could have done to mess with the Strong Spheres because it turned their own speed boosts against them and made them look so clumsy in the air
fridulf's avatar
fridulf
I am still thinking about how Hamber literally dismantled his own teammates just to teach them a lesson and the way that Bloodmoon Ursaluna loomed over them felt so much more primal and dangerous compared to the artificial glow of those spheres, and it really makes me wonder if Agate and the others are starting to regret following Spinel after this

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 130 appears to follow directly after 'The Black Rayquaza, Time for the Showdown,' suggesting the series is deep into a climactic stretch involving Rayquaza and the Explorers organization. A Hamber-focused episode at this stage likely serves as either a critical escalation or a pivotal character reveal within the overarching conflict. Its placement this late in the run signals endgame territory where major antagonist threads are being resolved or recontextualized.
