Those blueberry quests Drayton gave Roy were so funny because it's exactly what the game feels like and then he just gets wrecked by that Kingdra strategy

Liko keeping Hatterene as a healer feels like such a waste of potential and you just want to see it actually fight properly for once

You can really tell Ult is going to be a handful for Lacey since he just keeps running off to do his own thing instead of actually listening to her

Carmine coming back just to shut down people talking trash about the group made me so happy and her attitude is still the best

I actually liked seeing Roy lose this time because it shows he can't just power through everything and Drayton's rain dance play was too smart

I am really feeling for Roy after that loss to Drayton because he was so outclassed by that rain dance and Kingdra strategy and it felt like a reality check for the whole crew plus seeing Carmine again was a nice touch, even if they forgot her and I just hope the training with the elite four actually helps them improve

My heart broke a little seeing Roy lose again. He really needs to step up his game if he wants to hang with the elite four guys like Drayton

Dot hunting for those Gimmighoul coins is so tedious and it reminds you of trying to find them in the actual game so that struggle felt very real

The animation during that double battle was so smooth. Seeing Drayton use actual competitive moves like rain dance made the fight feel way more professional than usual

Carmine coming back as an assistant was such a surprise and her calling out the bad reputation of the team was actually pretty funny

Archaludon and Kingdra made such a scary team and Roy was just not ready for that level of double battle coordination yet

Settling into the Terarium Dome feels like a fresh start for everyone and seeing the different biomes used for training was a nice touch

It cracked me up when Liko and Roy just stared at Carmine like they had never seen her before in their lives

The Terarium Dome biomes look incredible and the way they have to fight wild pokemon to get stronger reminds me of the older episodes

Drayton is so cool with his relaxed attitude and the way he just completely dismantled Roy with that rain and hurricane combo was brutal

Drayton is way too chill for someone that just absolutely dismantled Roy, and that rain dance setup showed how far the kids still have to go

Drayton is way too chill for Roy but that is exactly why he is the perfect person to teach him how to stay calm during a fight

Ult really needs to listen to Lacey because running off to train alone in the Terarium Dome just got him into a mess with those wild pokemon

Roy taking another loss is actually a good thing because it shows how much he still has to learn from the Elite Four, and Drayton was the perfect person to put him in his place. I think the way Archaludon froze the entire field just to mess with Roy was such a ruthless move while Kingdra rained down attacks

Watching Ult get his Sableye stuck in that web because he wouldnt listen to anyone was frustrating. Lacey is going to have her hands full trying to teach him anything

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode directly follows the group's arrival and orientation at Blueberry Academy, building on the foundations laid in 'Tera☆Sparkle! Blueberry Academy' by moving from introductions into active training. It serves as the setup phase for the Academy arc, establishing the mentor dynamics and training challenges that will define the coming episodes. The next episode, 'Quiz Time! What is Ult's Training?,' continues this trajectory by zeroing in on Ult's distinctive training methods.
