Putting everyone at Blueberry Academy creates such a cool environment for actual growth. The way the episode built up the need for training in the Terrarium Dome felt very earned

I was glued to the screen when Nemona pulled out that win against Roy because it proves she is still the one to beat in Paldea. Seeing her interact with Lacey and Drayton made the school feel so much more alive than just a regular training ground, which is great for the arc. I cannot wait to see how Liko and Roy handle the Terrarium Dome challenges.

For me, the Lucario vs. Nemona battle, despite all the earlier hype, just didn't quite live up to the legendary status I'd imagined. It was cool, sure, but I kept waiting for that iconic, explosive presence that usually makes their fights unforgettable, and it just wasn't there this time.

Roy losing to Nemona even after using Terastal was the best way to start this arc. He needs that motivation for Crocalor to finally get to the next level while they are training

Lacey and Drayton are perfect additions because their banter feels so natural. Watching Lacey obsess over how cute the Pokemon are was such a funny introduction for the Elite Four members

Nemona showed up and absolutely crushed Roy in that double battle. It is good to see her still acting like a Champion and putting those kids in their place before the new school starts

I am so happy they kept Ann around for this journey and her battle with Lacey was a nice way to show off the new characters. She adds such a good dynamic

The visuals for the Terrarium Dome look exactly like the game and those biomes are so pretty. Getting to see the different zones makes the academy feel way more real

Hearing the new opening theme Iolite was cool because of the Sango visuals but the ending song was a bit too slow after that battle

Lacy really came out swinging against Ann, and wow, I was genuinely surprised by how much more intense these school battles are compared to what we saw back in Paldea! It made me wonder if Ann is going to struggle more than I thought here.

The four biomes in the terrarium dome look exactly like the games and it makes the whole environment feel like a dream for anyone who played the DLC

Drayton and his casual attitude are perfect and the way they adapted his personality from the games made the intro to Blueberry Academy feel right for fans of the Scarlet and Violet DLC

Roy getting his clock cleaned by Nemona was tough to watch, but it felt right since he needs a reality check to keep getting stronger and really master terastallization

The Terarium looks amazing and it captures the different biomes perfectly plus seeing Liko and the others get fired up to train there was the best way to start this arc

Having Ann back on screen for a match was great, and Lacy really proved her strength as an Elite Four member, especially by winning that opening battle

I expected Roy to put up a better fight against Nemona but I guess it shows the gap between them and the champions, his Lucario felt a little bit underwhelming during the battle even with Terastallization, and it was still cool to see them go all out in the new academy setting which definitely makes me want to see Crocalor evolve soon

Nemona just winning and then running off before Ult could even ask for a battle was such a classic move for her and it really showed how strong she actually is

Both Drayton and Lacey are such a fun duo and the way they acted exactly like their game versions made the whole introduction to Blueberry Academy feel so authentic

It was great seeing Ann again, especially since her fight with Lacey showed off how tough the Blueberry Academy students are going to be for the gang

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the Mega Evolution – Bond arc, where the team deepened their battle knowledge, this episode pivots the narrative into a new training phase at Blueberry Academy. It serves as the gateway episode, establishing the academy's unique environment and key new characters before the next episode, 'Training Begins! Terarium Dome,' kicks the actual training into gear. This is a deliberate bridge between arcs — closing out one growth chapter and laying the groundwork for the next.
