EPISODE REVIEWS

I can't believe Roy just Mega Evolved a wild Lucario out of nowhere and the animation for that fight was so good

Episode Context

This is the capstone of the Mega Evolution mini-arc, directly following the setbacks Roy and Ult experienced in 'Ult: Strongest,' where their attempts to master Mega Evolution hit a wall. Episode 114 resolves that tension by reframing the challenge around emotional connection rather than raw power. It also serves as a bridge into the 'Rising Again' arc, positioning the characters for fresh challenges with stronger foundations beneath them.
