EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

This episode follows directly from Roy's own training-focused arc, rotating the developmental lens onto Ult as Horizons systematically deepens its ensemble cast. It serves as a critical bridge episode, laying the emotional and thematic groundwork for 'Mega Evolution – Bond,' which promises to escalate the series' exploration of trainer-Pokémon connections. The progression from Roy's growth to Ult's mirrors Horizons' broader season strategy of building each character's foundation before converging their arcs.
