Ash and his friends fall into a hidden place and meet Calista, a woman who cares for a group of Xatu, Psychic‑type Pokémon said to forecast the weather and future events. Xatu predicts a dangerous flood which triggers panic. The episode explores faith vs. skepticism.

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 236 of 276, this is a filler detour between more consequential beats, following the Tyrogue encounter and directly preceding 'Talkin' 'Bout an Evolution,' which kicks off the significant Red Gyarados and Lake of Rage storyline. It's a breather episode that doesn't advance the main narrative but serves as a tonal palette cleanser before the series ramps up toward its endgame arcs. Skippable for plot purposes, but a pleasant standalone if you're watching the full run.
