The ending was satisfying as the struggle to get through this show is finally over. The resolution to the conflict about what would happen when they find out who is who was obvious; Maiku and even Karen have been saying it throughout the series. In the end, this show became similar to other shows with the typical brocon and a girlfriend trope. It was very generic.

The core plot of the show took too long to be addressed; it's as if the creators got lost in where the story should be heading. Maiku, Karen, and Miina are now all forced to face their reality all of a sudden as the major conflict's resolution is compressed into the remaining episodes. The creators could have lessened the love rivalry and made the central point a family drama rather than leaning into a borderline incest conundrum.

Maiku, Karen, and Miina have become accustomed to their living situation. They have become a family of their own. In this particular episode, Maiku was like a father who won't pry unless his child is ready to speak. On the other hand, Karen can be compared to a mother who was worried about her child which pushed her to try to find out the truth by talking to Yuka.

The whole plot is being set aside for the sake of romance. Like, where is the mystery solving part about Maiku, Miina, and Karen's true relationship? The creators keeping the status quo to milk the Miina and Karen rivalry over Maiku is exhausting. Also, what's up with the possibility of incest but then getting all flustered with an indirect kiss?

Although he is not openly showing how he feels, Maiku has definitely become like Karen and Miina. Maiku distancing himself from Kousei because of how Kousei affected the rumors about the two of them was funny, though. However, Kousei and Tsubaki were unexpected.

This show is turning more and more problematic. There's siscon that is quite extreme, then there's a relationship between a minor and an adult. This anime did not age well.

Logic and common sense just keep flying out of the window for this show. Karen and Miina keep looping back on the fact that they could or could not be blood related, but they don't really take it seriously. None of them is trying to set clear boundaries and address their situation seriously.

This episode is wrong on so many levels; the creators went straight to a borderline incest scene just to force tension so that Maiku, Karen, and Miina become conscious of their feelings. While the show aired in the early 2000s, looking at recent anime proves that this way of writing is still heavily present today.

This episode focused more on Maiku's perspective and his circumstances. He has become someone like a father figure for their family. He showed that he cares for Miina and Karen enough to worry and help them with how their life should go from now. Even Miina and Karen are think about how they can help Maiku who has taken them in.

This episode focused more on Karen and her circumstances. Compared to Miina, she is not overly familiar with her interactions with Maiku. Due to Maiku finding out about her family situation, Karen became more open with Maiku. She went from someone who felt like she must not belong in that house to a person who has been officially accepted to stay—by Maiku and herself.

The second episode is much better than the first one; it gave a glimpse into Karen, Miina, and Maiku's emotions and perspective. It delved a little into their motives, on why they are hung up on finding out if they are related or not.

Right from the start, it's being implied that the show will contain harem. When Miina was first introduced, it seemed like she was going to be a smart and capable character. Then, she immediately became stupid. This story is terrible, it's hard to watch.

This is exactly what an ending should be, from the very start it manages to strike the perfect balance between wholesome and funny. I'm glad we don't have to deal with the incest bit anymore. The entire episode will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see how it's going to end. It might even be a better ending that the one Onegai Teacher had before this. If you're into classic romance anime with a bit of comedy and plenty of ecchi you will for sure love this series.

Karen finally finds out the secret about her and Miina's relationship with Maiku and she's not ready to share it with anyone before her wish is granted. The way it was handled subverted my expectations and I was totally caught off guard, wether you were rooting for Miina or Karen I think it handled very well the long awaited moment. The ending had me in awe, I hope the next episode ties everything nicely.

Miina is deeply troubled by her past and Yuka showing up out of nowhere is sinking her into dark thoughts. I didn't think this show would tacke more serious and emotionally heavy plotline, but I'm glad they did and it was handled in a tasteful manner. She's by far the most complex character in the series and I'm glad we're getting to see her confront her past and find peace within herself.

Maiku and the girls pretty much already act like a three person couple instead of their original siblings dynamic, I guess the anime is trying to prepare us for the big reveal and Maiku will end up dating the other girl but it's still pretty weird. The alliance between the girls is a pretty funny gag to keep both of them from throwing themselves at Maiku.

It's fun seeing Ichigo's antics to keep Miina and Karen at bay, she's changed quite a lot from how she acted in Onegai Teacher but her charm still remains. Maiku is really mature when dealing with all the responsibilities he has at such a young age, it's really refreshing to see such a well rounded protagonist. Shimazaki's situation was handled terribly, but I guess it was to be expected, such a shame.

Miina and Karen's love alliance gets into action! Every anime needs a beach episode and Onegai Twins is no exception. All the gags in this episode are funnier than in previous ones, now that the characters are established we're seeing all sorts of fun dynamics between them. Maiku and the girls have such good chemistry you might even forget they're supposed to be siblings.

The plot thickens as the girls are now completely head over heels for Maiku. I like the dynamic of their love triangle, even if their personalities contrast each other they all compliment each other extremely well. Having the girls help each other understand their feelings instead of making them love rivals is an specially good decision from the writers, allowing for more diverse characterization beyond the usual "they love the same guy and hate each other". Let's see where this goes in the second half of the series.

Shimazaki's and Maiku's relationship was meant to be just a funny conspiracy between the girls at school but I didn't think we'd get an actual episode trying to prove it wrong. It's unexpected but not bad by any means, I mean it's 2003 Japan, there's no way they could've taken it anywhere beyond a funny gag. All of the girl's attempts at seducing Maiku are hilarious, this might be the best episode so far.
