First off, I have to say that the intro to this anime is some of the best I have ever seen. It's honestly hard to put in words how breathtaking it was. It was a journey from start to finish! As for the episode itself, it definitely caught my attention. The first bit already started off pretty crazy, but then becomes slow-paced afterwards. It seems like it was going to be a wholesome, slice of life episode at first, but then, oh boy, things took a really dark turn. It definitely caught me off guard at how brutal things got. I'm pretty hooked now, and I'm curious to see where the series will go from here!

A phenomenal premiere that sets up a fascinating world! The blend of ancient historical lore, warring tribes, and mystical elements creates a unique and captivating atmosphere. Right from the opening scenes, the worldbuilding pulled me in, establishing the kingdoms and distinct tribal lands with remarkable depth. It delivered intense drama, rich character introductions, and genuine emotional weight that lays a brilliant foundation for the journey ahead!

I’m a big fan of anthology style media, so the synopsis for this piqued my interest. This first story feels like a fable or tragic fairytale. It has a pretty, old school art style, too.
