📖 SYNOPSIS

Fifteen-year-old Ichimura Tetsunosuke, scarred by the murder of his parents at the hands of the Choushuu, craves the power to avenge them. His desire leads him to the Shinsengumi, a group dedicated to maintaining peace. However, Tetsunosuke's inexperience and emotional nature clash with the Shinsengumi's ruthless methods. He lacks the necessary coldness to kill without hesitation. Despite the support of his older brother, Tatsunosuke, and the camaraderie he finds within the Shinsengumi, Tetsunosuke is unprepared for the bloodshed and suffering that await him. The anime explores his journey as he navigates the complexities of loyalty, revenge, and the cost of violence within this historical context.
