EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

Episode 7 is a chaotic, high-energy comedy that leans hard into social media satire and romantic misery. The fallout from a viral video thrusts Arata into unexpected celebrity status, and the episode runs on the anxiety that creates for Kuroe, whose jealousy keeps her dangerously close to transforming at the worst possible moments. Expect rapid-fire misunderstandings, public embarrassment gags, and the kind of cringe-comedy that thrives on characters being pulled in opposite directions by forces they cannot control. The tone is fast and frenetic, but Kuroe's internal emotional spiral gives it genuine romantic stakes underneath the chaos. Fans of the show's signature blend of supernatural awkwardness and teenage romance will find this a satisfying, if stressful, escalation of everything the series has been building.
