EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

A school trip gives this rom-com supernatural series room to breathe, and Episode 6 takes full advantage. The tone shifts toward warmth and sincerity without losing the playful monster-movie energy the show runs on. Rairi steps into a more personal spotlight, and the episode peels back her gyaru persona with genuine care rather than cheap comedy. Kuroe's romantic anxiety over Arata stays central, but her capacity for friendship gets equal attention here. Manatsu keeps the mood lively with her signature enthusiasm while the pacing moves from breezy group sightseeing into something more emotionally grounded. Expect moments that balance awkward flirtation, heartfelt character work, and the absurdist kaiju undertone that colors every episode. This is a self-acceptance and friendship installment with real emotional stakes tucked underneath its lighthearted surface.
