Gosh, I was genuinely scared that something bad would happen to Kana! But I'm glad that she managed to hold up to her feelings, and she finally realized that the way to handle things is how she always handled it even as a child: In her own terms. 10/10

The idol system pressure hits hard here. Kana dealing with potential fallout while B-Komachi tries to hold things together gives strong “everything could collapse at any second” energy. Aqua observing from the sidelines adds tension.

This episode focuses on Kana Arima. The story is a bit predictable since scandals are common in the entertainment world. Kana feels down, so Aqua almost steps in to help, but there’s a plot twist haha.

The pressure on Kana is finally reaching a breaking point. Watching the paparazzi corner her and twist her words was genuinely uncomfortable to watch. It is a powerful look at how cruel the industry can be when it decides to flip on a star for a scandal.

Didn’t expect the show to do a 360 and not make her fall in the crying heroine type, I expected it, but I knew this’ll be better for her. It’s also frustrating seeing mc not being true to his feelings, even though his reasonings are valid, doesn’t make me not less angry.

8/10

Kana fallout after accidentally being push away by aqua is dark and worrying. After the paparazzi caught her going to a director studio for a "late night meeting" really push kana to her lowest point & that's reflect on the twisted real world idol scandal. But at the end, I'm proud of my girl cuz she refuse to be a victim & live her own way without give a damn about people think. KANA PEAK!

Kana growth as a character was amazing. Moving from Aqua as her pillar of purpose to finding her own purpose through the scandal, it was so well put together. The pacing and delivery of this episode was so well handled.

Great episode overall! You can feel how Kana is feeling everything around her but not much plot development I’d say overall.

I am genuinely so proud of how far Kana has come after all the struggle and seeing her build herself back up like this makes the current scandal sting even more

Aqua pretending he doesn't care but then immediately trying to jump in for Kana shows he is still hung up on her

I can't stop thinking about that paparazzi scene because the way they just ambushed Kana felt so predatory, and seeing her spiral like that was genuinely hard to watch. I was glad Aqua tried to step in but seeing Kana find her own footing and decide to own the scandal was a massive step for her character after all that stress

My stomach dropped when those paparazzi photos of Kana started surfacing, because for a moment there, I actually thought B-Komachi might catch a real break. Now it just feels like the entire fragile house of cards Akane and Ruby built is about to come crashing down on them, and I'm so worried for Kana after everything she's been through already.

You see Kana finally getting some resolve and it feels like she is done being the victim of the industry games

When the media started tearing into Kana, my stomach dropped because it felt so unfair. But then for her to just *decide* to shoulder all of that herself, even though it's brave, makes me wonder if she's just going to isolate herself again, which worries me deeply after everything she's been through.

The way the idol rule about dating messes with them is messed up and Ruby being shocked at how many girls lie was a lot

That scene where Ruby realized almost every idol has a secret boyfriend just felt so grim; I totally get why her dream suddenly seems so much faker now. It's gotta be a punch to the gut for her, seeing the whole "pure idol" image as such a lie.

B-Komachi has to act like dolls for the fans while everyone else is dating in secret, and Ruby seeing that industry hypocrisy was eye opening

EPISODE CONTEXT

Arriving at the halfway mark of the season's eleven episodes, this installment pivots from the professional maneuvering and casting decisions of Episode 5 into more personal territory, grounding the characters' ambitions in their emotional realities. It functions as a bridge episode — consolidating character development and relationship dynamics before the season's back half presumably escalates the stakes. The introspective groundwork laid here for Kana and Aqua should pay dividends as their professional and personal trajectories collide in the episodes ahead.
