WE'RE SO CLOSE, BUT THERE'S SO MUCH EPISODES TO GO. WHAT DOES IT MEAN. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

This is the BEST episode so far! Finally, after long, detailed discussions of politics and science, this ep is pure terror, literally! One of the most nerve-wracking moment to watch ever! Pacing, plot, animation, tense, everything flows or aligns perfectly! Peak VA of K. Tsuda!

What an episode, very tensed and crazy. Mahn Nowak actually really reminds me of Hans Landa a bit. Not only do they have a similar lifestyle per say, but also the way they can switch up between casual small talk and being the most intimidating character you can imagine.

The OST went so hard this episode! Every time that main theme kicks in when a discovery is made, I get goosebumps. It captures that feeling of "Eureka!" so perfectly. I feel like I’m in the room with them!

This episode is HORROR, so goood. And goddamn. That torture scene with that woman genuinely made me uncomfortable. I feel bad for her and the recruits. I'm kinda hoping that the first guy would back out of this job after experiencing what torturing someone is like.

This episode focus on the horror's of the inquisition. Focusing on Novak's initiating new recruits into brutal and violent nature of their profession. The episode also emphasize the hypocritical nature of the inquisition as shown by Novak's pragmatic attitude towards violence.

It is genuinely chilling to see Nowak doesn't flinch for what he has done to others. The two new inquisitors even reacted to the torture. It actually shed a light to his character a bit, like he has been indoctrinated. The effects really play a role on building the atmosphere.

I love how spectacularly stupid Badeni was in this one scene while Oczy was the one who was aware of what was happening. He's usually very cautious and tight lipped, but it stands to reason that with a bit of alcohol that caution would go to the wind. Nowak's just too dangerous.

BRO... that was brutal!! it's really hard to stomach while i was watching that scene. Nowak's pragmatism is somehow scarier than fanaticism. and I gasped when nowak's right behind oczy again. i'm scared for the next episodes.

Edge of your seat energy. This show knows how to make small moments feel massive. Every bead of sweat, every nervous glance matters. You're so invested in these people surviving that a close call will have you gasping. Simple premise, masterful execution. 😶
