EPISODE REVIEWS

Fire writing as always, writing is the name of the game for Orb. If you take the time to enjoy the dialogue, the words use, the manipulations done, the mindset and philosophy that being showcased. Everything just makes you feel so emotional, as if you were there with them fighting against the world.

And finally Nowak appears again!

The cinematography on this episode is a spectacle! Merely seen a glimpse of the night sky but the visuals on the setting sun was gold. The voice acting was brilliantly done and credits for Oczy's hardworks. Not expecting but still expected by that cliffhanger at the end.

Damn, Badeni's reflection on knowledge and how it should be restricted hits hard. Kind of incredible they managed to do a lot in this episode. I guess the answers were already there. Seems the new generation of inquisitors are about to appear... great.
Nice episode though.

A bit of a slower burn, but the philosophical payoff was HUGE. It asks the big questions: Is a comfortable lie better than a painful truth? The dialogue here is better than most live-action dramas.

The comedic timing of Grabowski leaving in amazement of Badeni's intellectual yapping about rainbows only to come back to ask for a cliffnotes version for the kids was absolute gold lmao.

The episode focuses on education and literacy as Oczy starts to learn to read and write. Meanwhile Badeni finds it frustrating that commoners would want to learn. This also reflects the hoarding of knowledge by the elites.

Despite what others might say, I, personally like how Badeni is written, he's sure about what he stands for and is laser focused on his goals, which is the truth. He thinks anything that straying away from it is garbage. And we get to know in this episode why he' harsh to Oczy.

Damn, Badeni's reflection on knowledge and how it should be restricted hits hard, given our current state of affairs. Everyone feels like they need to have an opinion nowadays, even on things they do not understand. 😂And it's crazy how the world back then is so different to now.

badeni really said idiocracy was coming 500 years early. meanwhile orczy just wants to write a book and I'm protecting him at all costs.😭 this ep was stacked.

When the real enemy isn't the Inquisition but the doubts between them. Oof. Paranoia becomes contagious, and allies start feeling like liabilities. This show gets that the scariest threats are often the ones we create ourselves. No monsters needed. 🙃
