This episode focuses on Flashy Flash and Child Emperor. I usually enjoy learning more about side characters, but I just miss Saitama too much. There were some really great visuals in this episode, but overall it was kind of whatever.

Oh a treat for sore eyes! Finally some sense of redemption with this fast paced episode. Good animation and smooth fight scenes. Perfect pacing. More of this please! Flashy flash is fast as hell!

Episode Context

Sitting at the two-thirds mark of the season, 'Ninja Tale' follows the large-scale hero counterattack depicted in Episode 7's 'Counterstrike,' narrowing the scope from ensemble chaos to a single hero's journey deeper into enemy territory. This shift toward individual confrontations signals the season's transition into its back half, where character backstories and personal stakes take priority. It directly sets up Episode 9, 'Brave Child,' which continues peeling back the layered dynamics between heroes and the monsters they face underground.
