EPISODE REVIEWS

Holy smokes, when I saw Kid and Luffy in the same cell at the end, my jaw dropped! I'm so hyped to see what kind of chaos these two supernovas will cook up in Udon prison now, it just makes the whole arc feel way more intense and exciting.

Episode Context

This episode marks a critical pivot point in the Wano Country Arc, landing directly after Luffy's devastating one-sided confrontation with Kaido, effectively closing the arc's opening act. It transitions from explosive conflict to the consequences of that conflict, establishing the prison mine as a new setting and reintroducing Eustass Kid as a key player. Everything here is foundational setup, laying the groundwork for Luffy's path back toward challenging the arc's overwhelming power structure.
