This episode hits a really good rhythm. Shifting from blind revenge to the tech investigation gives the plot some actual weight. The writing feels a lot tighter. Pacing stays fast with the conspiracy plot hits. The fight animation is as smooth and heavy-hitting as ever.

Episode Context

Coming off the aftermath of a brutal incident in Episode 3 that left Mike and Emma injured and shaken, Episode 4 marks a pivotal transition point roughly one-third into the season, the show moves from reactive survival into proactive investigation. Higan's awareness of AUZA's threat deepens here, while the supporting cast's parallel investigation begins converging with his own path. This episode clearly functions as setup for the mid-season escalation, establishing the alliances and strategic groundwork that will define the confrontations ahead.
