It shifts gears from non-stop revenge to actual lore. The slower pace gives the story room to hit, while the detective side is grounded. The stark contrast between traditional ninja shadows and modern tech looks brutal.

Episode Context

Sitting at the threshold of the season's midpoint, Episode 5 builds directly on Episode 4's failed infiltration of AUZA City, forcing Higan to adapt and find new angles of approach against increasingly prepared enemies. This pivot marks a turning point where the series shifts from establishing its world and conflicts to actively escalating them. With eight episodes still ahead, the confrontations here lay critical groundwork for the deeper power struggles and revelations the back half of the season will need to deliver.
