Synopsis
After years of fighting a losing war against demonkind, Kyle Lenard leads a suicide mission to kill the Demon King, actually pulls it off, and then dies anyway. Except right before the end, he touches some mysterious relic and wakes up four years in the past, back in his hometown that hasn't been destroyed yet, with every memory of the future still intact. So now he's a teenager again who knows exactly when every disaster hits, who dies, and where the real threats are hiding. The catch is figuring out how to actually change things when you're a kid nobody takes seriously yet. This 12-episode TV series from Studio Clutch adapts the light novel and leans into that second-chance fantasy where the protagonist isn't overpowered from the start. he just knows too much. Kyle rebuilds his party early, recruiting friends like Seran and Lise before the war even begins, and the tension comes from whether knowing the future is enough to rewrite it. The magic swordsman combat is solid, mixing blade work with spellcasting in ways that keep fights varied. If you liked the strategic do-overs in Re:Zero or the weight of knowing what's coming like in Steins;Gate, this hits a similar nerve but with a straight fantasy setting. Fans of The Rising of the Shield Hero will also appreciate the underdog-with-hidden-knowledge angle. It's a clean, engaging watch that doesn't waste its 12 episodes.

The end of a good story with mid animation; it was well written, but in this final episode it was hard to tell the scope, whether it was hyping a second season or closing the story since they presented a bunch of characters and situations but nothing too specific.
The writing and pacing of this episode are way better than the previous one; from the backstory to the resolution, everything felt well connected. Sadly the animation is not really great, but the episode in general is worth your time. PS. Don't forget to watch the post-credit scene; it will clarify everything.
Quite an uneventful episode; even though the fight was supposed to be a big deal, the animation and development were lacking, making the fight not that important for the viewer. In terms of story, it is not that important, so it is not necessary to watch, to be honest.
You can also fight with words is the lesson of this episode, and how Kyle uses them to gather information in a quite unusual way for these types of series is quite funny. The episode feels well driven and easy to understand.
This episode felt a little bit slow, maybe because it had a lot of stuff happening or maybe the way it was written, even though it was good, wasn't as good as the others, and the way that Kyle discovered what to do felt way too forced.
The fact that Kyle keeps encountering people from his past life is really interesting and consistent throughout the story; it is very cool that they maintain these features and are not afraid to present characters and their "previous" lives.
Good development and story; even being an "in-between" episode, a lot of important situations happened, and the story kept going smoothly. It is a good episode to move forward with the story without disregarding the previous ones.
This episode is very, very fulfilling to watch for the people who like paying attention to little details, showing how well this series in general is well written and planned ahead. But animation is not that good in some fight scenes.
The truth begins to be uncovered; even if we knew a little, the reality was still a surprise. It was a very unexpected situation, even for the spectator, and that's great. However, throughout the episode, the animation felt stale and kind of sloppy.
People always talk about what's better, time travel or teleportation; this episode shows us some of the quirks about time travel and how to take a big profit from it. This may not be the most amazing episode, but it's good enough.
Really interesting episode; we can see how Kyle's "future" life is changing his behaviour, not only towards situations but also towards people, showing how impactful everything was.
The start of a new series is almost always the most important thing. This beginning tells us a lot and it hypes the future, but the true question is if we are going to understand the big question behind time travelling.
The ending felt rushed. This last episode tried to set the stage for the continuation of the series. The new character seems interesting and the voice acting makes it better. Compared to that, the animation of Kyle's reaction was lacking and failed to deliver the emotion he was supposed to convey.
The fight here is nothing worth taking note of. I thought they might have a better fight but apparently not. The reveals aren't shocking or interesting either. The voice cast is great, I love the voice actors but their dialogue is just not engaging.
The fight is very boring. It's not tense, unlike when Killua and Gon fought chimera ants for the first time. Maybe the demon lacks individuality while Urza and Liese's fighting style is too stiff looking.
This is becoming worse. The demons are not scary or interesting. Kyle and the others don't care about anything at all, especially Theron. Gazus just let things unfold even though he knows it was wrong. Then there's Miranda who didn't take any action despite Gazus being important to her. They all suck.
Kyle might be more stupid than I initially thought. He might show some level of intelligence from time to time but to overlook an incident like this is crazy. It might not have been relevant to him but he should take note of every occurrence, no matter how small as he doesn't know what has a clue or an effect on the future.
Always bring your weapon with you, no matter where you go. Kyle is changing the course of history but that also means the future he knows is going to be different. He should always research and know the happenings especially after they alter the original outcomes.
Kyle will really do anything for his goal. Sometimes the people closest to you are the people you should really watch out for. The life of the royalty is hard, even in stories.
Yasumoto Hiroki seems to be voicing a lot of characters who are the strongest in their country. I did not expect that from Theron. I just love OP characters.
