The end of a good story with mid animation; it was well written, but in this final episode it was hard to tell the scope, whether it was hyping a second season or closing the story since they presented a bunch of characters and situations but nothing too specific.

The ending felt rushed. This last episode tried to set the stage for the continuation of the series. The new character seems interesting and the voice acting makes it better. Compared to that, the animation of Kyle's reaction was lacking and failed to deliver the emotion he was supposed to convey.

This anime concludes the Karan arc quite nicely. Honestly, it would have been perfectly fine if it had ended there, since the second half of the finale mainly serves as a tease for the next arc. If there's no plan for a second season, I would have preferred they not leave things hanging like that.Overall, while I wouldn't call this anime a masterpiece or anything particularly outstanding, it was still entertaining, especially if you enjoy this kind of premise. I love the characters, and that helped keep me invested throughout the series. I don't know if a second season will happen, but if it does, I'll definitely be watching.
