Good development and story; even being an "in-between" episode, a lot of important situations happened, and the story kept going smoothly. It is a good episode to move forward with the story without disregarding the previous ones.

Kyle will really do anything for his goal. Sometimes the people closest to you are the people you should really watch out for. The life of the royalty is hard, even in stories.

This episode concludes the arc, and overall I think it was a good one, especially by the series' standards. One of the highlights was seeing a darker side of Kyle emerge, and do what needs to be done. Half point, story still feel generic, but the character is entertaining.

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact halfway mark of the 12-episode season, 'Brothers in Arms' serves as a narrative pivot, the rescue arc centered on Princess Milena wraps up, and Kyle's party is immediately redirected toward their next objective. It builds directly off 'Reunion at Dawn' and sets the stage for the journey to Karan explored in 'To the Blacksmith's Nation,' making it a critical connective chapter that shifts the story from reactive heroics to proactive mission-driven storytelling.
