QUICK TAKES

Still doesn't understand what's going on in this episode. The visuals are stunning, yet the plot has not shown any significant development. But at least the interaction between Ame and the Karamazov members makes this episode quite interesting.

Purple Lollipop invites a special guest for a live episode.
The episode is less intense.
I can't understand the plot.
Overall - 6/10.

2nd episode drops off a bit with the introduction of the "rival" idol group but we get to see fans of all sort of chronically online issues

I am a little disappointed that Ame didn't make much of an appearance. Like, at all. Considering the game it's based off of is literally just her, this take on it felt really different to say the least. It does do a good job at making the audience feel KAngel's importance!

It was a little underwhelming compared to the first episode, and the animations + writing were more reminiscent of a filler/in-between episode with little additions of its own. Whatever was within this episode had already been established in the first one.

This episode focuses more on the other group that exists only within this series, which felt a little abrupt, but a suitable narrative choice for exploring different perspectives on the world of this universe.

That whole Kache scene was weird, I didn't get why she was even talking about her past like that it felt out of place.

My favorite part was when KAngel killed that old woman it was brutal and shocking

This episode felt like a fever dream and the way they depicted the online world versus reality was pretty spot on, making me question what's real.

I couldn't stop thinking about that knife scene it was so unexpected and really set a dark tone for the episode.

I get the artistic choice but those static close-ups and text-only screens really made it a chore to watch. It felt like they were trying to be deep but just came off as lazy animation.

The Karamazov group is surprisingly entertaining they have a chaotic charm that's kinda refreshing.

Man, this episode was a total mind trip. The way they went from KAngel being all cute to that super dark stuff with the monologues just messed with me. And the Karamazovs really brought the energy, even if they're kinda evil.

KAngel's endless monologues are starting to drag. I miss the subtle ways the game showed her pain instead of just telling us over and over.

This episode really hammered home the duality of KAngel and Dark, showing Ame scrolling through all those awful comments only for Dark to try and protect her. It’s a powerful but unsettling look at how people cope with online toxicity and the constant struggle to maintain that perfect image.

The way they showed the hate comments flushing down the toilet was super heavy this whole streaming thing is messed up

I felt really bad for Ame in this episode you can really see how much the online hate gets to her
