Too much things happen on this first episode. Still doesn't understand the plot but at least the visual is stunning. The pacing is right but there are still many confusing scenes. Let's see what happens in the next episode.

Man, this one is heavy and dark, with lots of things going on.
Mind-twisting animations.
But I feel the animation is a bit laggy, only if it were more fps or smoother.

Overall — very intense — it can mess with your head, 9/10.

From the visuals to the content, everything is done so well. I didn't expect this from the trailer, but this was an incredible display for developing Ame so early on. The introduced characters also add an "ordinary person" perspective to the series and her popularity.

Despite being a little hard to follow, the combination of "real-life" aspects such as the hands or talking cam from Kangel amplify the vibe from unsettling to relatable in our real lives. Her thought processes and mental stability are also immediately established.

This episode was really spectacular and true to its source material! Although in this series, some things are a little different, like P Chan not playing that big a role (so far) and Kangel is already insanely popular here!

Honestly the philosophical monologues got a little preachy for me. I wanted more action less talk.

The way KAngel's follower count just kept going up during the live concert, and the fans losing it, was actually pretty wild.

The part about everyone being judged by numbers in this screwed-up social media world was a bit on the nose but it felt so true.

You have to admire the visual style. The neon colors and glitch effects made the internet feel really alive and chaotic.

That moment when Ame-chan breaks the window and tosses the broom in the school felt like such a release and it was genuinely powerful.

The switch to Kache and her struggles was unexpected and kinda disturbing, especially when the guys asked for her number. This show doesn't pull punches.

I couldn't stop thinking about Ame-chan's tired face in her room, putting on makeup while the KAngel numbers kept climbing. That duality hit me hard.

This show is seriously messed up in the best way. The way KAngel shifts from a sweet angel to this sinister figure is so well done.

I think the philosophical monologues were a bit much and kind of pulled me out of the story a little. It felt a bit heavy-handed.

Seeing the audience members, the salarymen, at the KAngel concert crying and then transforming into those sad-looking guys was a powerful visual statement about parasocial relationships and how we project onto streamers.

When Kache starts talking about getting money for plastic surgery it gets pretty uncomfortable you just know where that's going.

I was not ready for the shift in tone from the game. P-chan feels so much colder here and it really makes you rethink their relationship.
