Seeing how Natsume's kindness and his pure soul are so precious to me, I'm also happy that the master of those yokai is actually a wise creature after all, he made the right decision, though. It's a good and peaceful resolution for each one of them after all.
One of the best parts of this episode is seeing Protagonist growth over the past 3 season he’s not just a helpless kid anymore and it bring tears to my eyes, just a small bit. At the end it do delivers a satisfying conclusion to Matoba arc while deepening the lore of the series
The way they got out at that place was too easy that I genuinely think they could've easily got out anytime they wanted too. It was a let down at how they manage to get out of that situation like that, cliffhanger from the last episode was more entertaining than this episode.
