I had a bit of a mixed feeling when watching this episode. There was a creepy scene when a bunch of youkai surrounded Natsume, also funny and heartwarming moments! The soundtrack was also very therapeutic and soothing. This episode was divided into 2 parts, so you can't skip it!

If you thought Season 4 was going to start with a slow, cozy afternoon watch, this episode immediately proves you wrong. Overall it's a decent first episode that reminds us why the protag has to be so careful. Alas, it's a mid episode I'm not expecting any great animation.

The anime title doesn't give it justice. animation style was a bit dull but it was okay. soundtrack is great on the first listen. opening episode was a good with action and suspense and cliffhanger at the end.
