filler episode where naruto hangs out with an old soldier named kosuke and goes on a border patrol mission, has some nice flashbacks to past hokages which fans appreciated but nothing really memorable happens beyond that

I am so glad Hinata actually used her brain to beat Jiga after Naruto went down because her spotting the iron particle weakness was a smart way to win that fight

This filler arc has been dragging a bit but this specific fight felt different because Hinata actually used her head instead of just being shy, watching her analyze Jiga and his iron particles was way more interesting than the usual yelling and charging in, plus it was sweet how she refused to leave Naruto behind, especially when he was helpless in that magnetic field

I felt so proud of Hinata for handling things on her own and outsmarting that magnet guy by herself

Hinata and Naruto together during these missions is always fun and she really handled that magnet villain alone without any help

That match ended in such a cool way because Hinata used her brain instead of just the gentle fist style

Hinata really proved she can think on her feet when Naruto is in trouble and that magnetic jutsu guy got taken out

Hinata finding that blind spot and knocking Jiga into the canyon was actually a smart move for a filler character

The way Hinata used the Byakugan to see the iron particle limit on Jiga was such a clever way to win a fight

Most of these filler episodes are skip material but Hinata using the Byakugan to figure out the iron sand weakness was cool

Skipping filler is my normal routine because it usually goes on forever but I am glad I stuck around for this one since Hinata is my favorite, and she actually looks competent here. The way she used her byakugan to see the iron particles on Jiga was so smart and it was sweet how she did it all to protect Naruto

Witnessing Hinata acting so confident is great and her figuring out that Jiga becomes a magnet if he keeps too much iron on him was a really unique way to win

Usually naruto filler is just boring stuff about food or lost pets so seeing a tactical fight where hinata actually uses her head to win is a nice change of pace

That magnet guy Jiga had an interesting gimmick and it was refreshing seeing Hinata use the byakugan for something other than just seeing through walls or spying on people

Most filler episodes are a waste of time, but Hinata standing her ground and figuring out the iron particle secret made this one feel like she is finally catching up to the others

She is usually so shy so seeing Hinata take charge and dismantle Jiga's strategy by spotting those tiny iron particles made this filler actually worth watching for the character development

I felt so proud when Hinata jumped in to protect Naruto while he was just lying there and she really proved she can handle a fight on her own by outsmarting that magnet villain

Jiga having to shake off the metal bits so he does not turn into a giant magnet was such a clever idea and Hinata actually noticing it with her eyes felt really earned for once

I love that Hinata finally got a win without needing Naruto to save her or tell her what to do and she actually used her brain to figure out that magnet guy's weird weakness

It is actually rare to see a filler episode that does something decent with the side characters and watching Hinata use her byakugan to find those iron particles on Jiga was such a smart move

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 190 of 220, this falls deep within Naruto's extended filler stretch that bridges the gap before Shippuden. It continues the Peddlers Escort Mission arc, picking up after the ninja tools challenges of 'A Limitless Supply of Ninja Tools' and leading directly into 'Forecast: Death! Cloudy with Chance of Sun.' None of these episodes advance the manga's storyline, but this arc offers a self-contained mission structure for fans who want more team dynamics.
