Episode Context

Sitting at episode 179 of 220, this is deep in Naruto's extended filler run that follows the main story's conclusion around episode 135. It continues directly from 'Encounter! The Boy with a Star's Name,' which established the Leaf Village's mission to guard Hoshigakure's mysterious star, and it sets the stage for 'Hidden Jutsu: The Price of The Ninja Art: Kujaku,' where the fallout from the star's theft and the Star Village's buried secrets begin to surface.
