the lightning swords were so cool to see in action and Raiga actually gave me the creeps for a filler villain

Naruto outsmarting those Kurosuki guys with his clones was actually pretty smart and it felt good to see him not just spamming the same move without thinking for once

Ranmaru being able to give up his own life force to save Raiga is a heavy price to pay and it makes their connection feel so much deeper

You can really tell Raiga is part of the Seven Swordsmen because his fighting style is just as brutal as Zabuza but with way more lightning

The mist is getting way too thick and the way Raiga just disappears into the clouds makes the whole atmosphere feel super creepy and tense

It really surprised me that Neji got so flustered when his vision started acting up because of whatever Ranmaru was doing with his chakra

Raiga seems like a total psycho for crying at funerals he caused, but the way Ranmaru acts as his eyes and ears is a cool concept for a duo

I honestly don't mind that this is filler because the dynamic between Raiga and Ranmaru is surprisingly heavy for a side story, and seeing Naruto jump in with Team Guy is a nice change of pace, and that moment where Ranmaru uses his eyes to confuse everyone really caught me off guard because you usually don't see the Byakugan get countered that easily

Filler usually sucks but the Seven Ninja Swordsmen always have the coolest designs and Raiga definitely fits that vibe with his lightning blades

That kid Ranmaru is basically a living cheat code because he can just mess with the Byakugan like it is nothing and it makes the fight feel actually dangerous

I forgot how much I liked Team Guy and seeing them work with Naruto on this weird fog mission was actually pretty fun

Raiga and Ranmaru have such a weird bond and it is kind of sad to see how they rely on each other to feel human

that ending ambush was okay but it was stressful not knowing if raiga was actually gone for good

I actually do not mind this filler arc as much as the others because the stuff with Ranmaru acting as Raiga's eyes is genuinely haunting and watching Naruto outsmart the Kurosuke family with those clones made me realize how much he has grown as a ninja lately, and it was a solid win for him after all that chaos

those shadow clones were such a smart play to bait the kurosuke guys and it shows naruto can be a real strategist when he needs to

My biggest issue is how slow this arc is moving, and honestly I just want to see more of the main cast instead of these random villagers

ranmaru being the eyes for raiga is such a creepy concept and it makes them way more interesting than the usual filler villains

karashi is definitely hiding something and he cannot be trusted at all especially after he led the group right into that mess

The way Naruto handled that ambush was great and I thought those shadow clones were perfectly placed to fool the Kurosuke guys

this side story is dragging and the kurosuke family feels like such a weak threat compared to the actual villains in the main show

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 155 of 220, this lands deep in Naruto's extended filler run that follows the main storyline's conclusion around episode 135. It directly continues the fallout from 'The Enemy of the Byakugan' and bridges into 'Raiga's Counterattack,' functioning as the tension-building middle chapter of a multi-episode filler arc. Skippable for canon purists, but relevant if you're following this particular arc through.
