EPISODE REVIEWS

I wanted to see Raiga do something cool with his swords and instead he just stands there and lets Ranmaru do all the work. It makes the Seven Swordsmen look kind of bad and pathetic

Episode Context

This episode sits in the middle of the Kurosuki Family Removal Mission arc, a filler storyline running deep in the back half of the original Naruto series. It follows directly from the team's initial confrontation with the Kurosuki family in 'A Lesson Learned: The Iron Fist of Love' and escalates the conflict, setting up the next chapter, 'The Dark Creeping Clouds,' which continues the team's push to dismantle the family's grip.
