Mizuki went from a regular guy to a massive beast and it is wild to see. Iruka trying to reach his heart was sad because Mizuki is clearly too far gone. Those food obsessed brothers are the only weird part

I forgot Mizuki even existed and now he looks like an Orochimaru experiment or something

I was not expecting the animation to get so gritty and weird for a filler episode. The way they drew the shadows and the faces during the intense parts really worked for me. Mizuki is a total freak of nature now

iruka actually getting into a fight is cool and he looks so stressed about mizuki coming back to mess with naruto

Watching Iruka struggle with his feelings about his old friend was the best part. Mizuki is a monster now and he clearly does not care about their past. It is rare to see Iruka get this much focus

The stupid brothers are so annoying and they just want food. Fuujin and Raijin keep getting in the way while the actual drama is with Iruka. Iruka deserves better than dealing with an old friend who turned evil

I cannot get over how weird Mizuki looks now. That monster form is so gross and it reminds me of Sasuke. I feel bad for Iruka trying to talk sense into him while he just screams and fights

The Legendary Stupid Brothers are pretty goofy, but they provide a funny break from the heavy stuff between Iruka and Mizuki. It was interesting to see Mizuki using that formula to turn into a monster and hunt down Naruto again.

Mizuki really drank that potion and turned into a total beast. Seeing him again is cool but he is completely insane. The art style looks super sharp and creepy during the fight scenes and it was very unsettling

That transformation Mizuki did was actually terrifying and the lines in the art made it look so jagged. It is crazy how much he has changed since the first episode. He is a full on villain with no soul left

I really felt for Iruka-sensei this time because he still sees the good in Mizuki from their academy days together. It makes the whole confrontation much more personal than just a random filler fight, especially when Mizuki pulls out that monstrous transformation that looks like something Orochimaru would dream up. Even though the stupid brothers are a bit much I liked the darker animation.

Naruto calling out the link to Orochimaru was a smart touch for this arc. Mizuki looks like he belongs in a horror movie and the art reflects that perfectly. The fight has a very different energy than the usual missions

I am actually digging the creepy atmosphere in this one, and that weird line from Pakkun about his pinky had me pausing the video to make sure I heard him right

The art style change caught the eye because everything looked way sharper and more detailed than the last few episodes and then it just went back to normal halfway through which was weird. It made the atmosphere feel a lot more intense while they were tracking Mizuki through the forest but the slow plot makes the filler hard to watch

Naruto and Iruka being together on a mission again is a nice throwback but Mizuki getting this much screen time feels like a huge stretch village story or not

I feel like I am losing my mind with how long this arc is taking just to get back to the main story but seeing Iruka fight is alright

This filler is moving at a snail pace and sitting through these episodes is getting tough even if the art looked cool for five minutes

Seeing Mizuki again is so weird because he used to be a basic villain and now he has all this gross stuff going on with his skin

I have no clue what Pakkun meant about his pinky and it is going to keep me up all night wondering what that dog was actually talking about

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting deep in Naruto's filler stretch at episode 146 of 220, this continues a multi-episode arc centered on Mizuki's escape and his ties to Orochimaru. It follows directly from the Ino-Shika-Cho teamwork showcase and escalates the pursuit, bridging toward 'A Clash of Fate: You Can't Bring Me Down' where the confrontation intensifies. None of this material advances the manga's core narrative, but it expands on side characters and villain connections within the filler continuity.
