Episode Context

Episode 135 closes out the emotionally charged arc that dominated the preceding stretch of episodes, serving as the definitive aftermath chapter following the intense confrontation in Episode 134. It marks a critical turning point roughly 60% through the original series, pivoting from the fallout of a failed mission toward new training arcs and future challenges. This episode effectively sets the stage for the narrative's next phase, including Naruto's growth under Jiraiya and Sakura's pursuit of her own strength.
