I can say this is partially all filler and some of it is important. Kakashi with the team Kurenai searching for something, the rest of it, training from Naruto, and some scenes at Konoha

The training scenes with the frogs were so boring and dragged on way too long and there was way too much talking for a filler episode that barely moved the plot forward

Episode Context

Positioned between 'A Night of Rain' and 'The Unseeing Enemy,' this filler episode serves as a bridge where rising tensions shift from external threats to internal character conflicts. The strategic and emotional groundwork laid here, particularly around Guren and Naruto, feeds directly into the confrontations that follow. As episode 95 of 500, this falls within a stretch of anime-original content, so manga-only fans can safely skip without losing canonical plot progression.
