Tobirama really did not help the situation at all and he just kept pushing Madara into a corner with his talk about the Uchiha being unstable

I actually feel for Madara after seeing how he was treated during the early days of the village and it seems like Hashirama really tried to include him, but Tobirama was always there in the background making things difficult and being suspicious plus seeing them stand on the mountain together was cool, and it makes their eventual fallout feel so much worse because of how much they shared on that mountain

They both had such a beautiful dream of a place where kids would not have to fight and die in wars anymore

It is really annoying to see a flashback inside of another flashback because the story just stops moving forward for way too long

Hashirama shows why he was the leader for wanting to give up the Hokage title to Madara just to keep the peace between their families

I cannot get over how Madara was the one who named the Hidden Leaf and it makes everything so much sadder now

I felt so bad for Madara when he realized the village people were scared of him and he just wanted to protect them like Hashirama did

The final fight between Hashirama and Madara looked great, but the way they keep using the same clips over and over is really starting to get annoying

Seriously, did they really need to show those exact same scenes about the village forming *again*? It totally killed any excitement I had for what should have been a super important moment, and I just kept wishing they'd move on.

Madara looked so out of place when everyone was cheering for Hashirama and you could tell he was starting to feel like he did not belong in the village anymore

Ugh, seeing Tobirama just openly spew his hatred for the Uchiha like that made my blood boil, and it's so clear to me now why Madara was always so deeply messed up by it, even with Hashirama desperately trying to hold things together. You can really feel how those words were just carving away at any chance for peace they might've had.

When Hashirama and Madara finally clasped hands, it genuinely filled me with a bittersweet ache, because I just know it won't last. My mind immediately went to all the pain their rivalry caused, even as I hoped this would be the fresh start everyone deserved.

I was so genuinely happy to see the Uchiha and Senju finally reach a truce, but my heart just sank when Tobirama immediately started spewing his distrust for them. It's wild how one person's prejudice can completely unravel decades of struggle for peace, and now here we are with Madara unleashing Kurama, all because that initial trust couldn't hold.

Madara's turn was just so heartbreaking, watching him get so close to the Leaf Village dream with Hashirama only for that awful stone tablet to completely derail everything. I just can't shake the feeling that he *chose* to believe the worst, even if it meant destroying everything they built. It makes me wonder if he ever truly saw Hashirama as an equal, or if the Uchiha-Senju rivalry was always too deep for him to overcome.

I was seriously just glazing over all the constant flashbacks again, thinking "are we ever gonna get back to the good stuff?" But man, that fight at the end snapped me right out of it, like, holy smokes, my jaw was on the floor with how awesome it got.

Madara just casually sitting there atop the Nine-Tails, looking like he owned the whole battlefield, honestly made my jaw drop; I was internally screaming, wondering how *anyone* could possibly stand a chance against that level of sheer, terrifying power. His absolute confidence, almost boredom, as he was about to unleash hell on everyone was something else, and it just cemented for me that this guy is seriously on another level, probably the biggest threat we've seen yet.

I just can't get over how Hashirama keeps trying to save Madara, even when the whole world is literally falling apart around them. It really makes me wonder if Hashirama's just too pure-hearted, or if he genuinely believes Madara can still be reached, despite how utterly set in his ways Madara is.

Ugh, Tobirama really made a mess of things with his deep-seated distrust, and honestly, I'm convinced his attitude is why the Uchiha never truly felt like they belonged in the Leaf, creating this rift that just kept widening over the generations.

I really felt for Madara as a kid, seeing how all he wanted was to be accepted by the village he put his heart into building, and instead everyone just feared him. It's wild to think that foundational rejection is probably what turned him into the guy we know today.

When Hashirama's wood golem just snagged the Nine-Tails' sword mid-air, I literally leaned forward, completely awestruck by the sheer, overwhelming scale of it all. It makes me wonder if any other ninja, even beyond the current generation, could ever hope to replicate or even contend with such a monstrous display of power.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Picking up directly from the establishment of the Hidden Leaf Village explored in preceding episodes, 'My True Dream' deepens the historical flashback by examining the internal fractures and leadership struggles that defined the village's earliest days. Positioned at episode 369 of 500, this sits squarely in the series' broader effort to contextualize the present-day conflict through its origins. It builds directly toward 'Sasuke's Answer,' bridging historical reflection with the decisive present-day implications those founding ideals carry for the current generation.
