I actually feel for Madara after seeing how he was treated during the early days of the village and it seems like Hashirama really tried to include him, but Tobirama was always there in the background making things difficult and being suspicious plus seeing them stand on the mountain together was cool, and it makes their eventual fallout feel so much worse because of how much they shared on that mountain
