EPISODE REVIEWS

Watching Kabuto try to use every Sound Four power only to get stuck in that loop shows how insane Itachi really is as a ninja

I am feeling bad for Kabuto and that Izanami loop is truly terrifying because he just keeps losing his mind over and over while Itachi watches him struggle

Episode Context

Coming directly off episode 336's deep dive into Kabuto Yakushi's backstory and the psychological foundations driving his ambitions, this episode pivots that character work into an active confrontation between Kabuto and the Uchiha brothers. It serves as the critical turning point in their battle, introducing the titular forbidden technique that will be further explored in episode 338, 'Izanagi and Izanami,' which expands the mythological lore underlying these abilities. Within the broader Fourth Shinobi World War arc, this stretch represents a pivotal subplot running parallel to the main battlefield.
