They really went and put lipstick on Haku for no reason and the amount of flashbacks in this episode made it feel like watching the original show again

Seeing all Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist show up at the end was such a cool reveal and Kakashi looks ready to go all out

I teared up when Kakashi told Zabuza about the bridge named after Naruto and it just shows how much has changed since the beginning of the show

The way Zabuza asked if Naruto was doing well really got through and it sucks seeing them lose their souls to become Kabutos mindless dolls

It absolutely blew my mind when Kabuto just ripped Haku's soul away right after he finally realized Naruto had succeeded and found a moment of peace. Honestly, it just makes me despise the Edo Tensei even more because of how it cruelly disregards any closure for these characters.

When Haku and Zabuza appeared, I felt a pang of nostalgia mixed with dread, especially hearing them ask for Naruto. It's wild to think those two, who were basically Naruto's first real taste of the shinobi world, are back on the battlefield, and it makes me wonder how much their short time together truly etched itself into his growth and current resolve.

I seriously can't believe how crazy powerful that Scorch Release heat orb is, it's gotta be one of the most terrifying kekkei genkai we've seen so far. There was just no way those Leaf shinobi were gonna make it out of that alive, it's honestly a miracle anyone survived that blast.

It totally caught me off guard hearing Zabuza ask if Naruto was alright, like, that was such a powerful moment. I just remember how much he truly hated them at first, but that question showed me he really did care for Naruto even after all this time, which is just wild considering their past.

The way Kabuto just casually brought back all those dead ninja was seriously chilling; I felt a wave of disgust knowing he'd force them to fight their former comrades, robbing them of any peace even in death. It's such a twisted use of power, and I can't imagine the despair of being raised just to hurt the people you once protected.

Ugh, all those Zabuza flashbacks just threw me straight back to when I first watched this arc, and man, it was a lot to take in all at once. I get that they wanted to drive home the tragedy, but my heart wasn't ready for that much emotional whiplash in one go, you know?

I totally get why they'd want to revisit Naruto's foundational memories, but when those Land of Waves flashbacks kept going, I just felt a growing frustration rather than nostalgia. It completely ripped me out of the urgent present of the war, making me wonder if the animators were just buying time instead of focusing on the epic battles we were *supposed* to be seeing.

Gosh, seeing Zabuza and Haku brought back as Kabuto's puppets was just heartbreaking, like, my stomach actually dropped watching them. It's so messed up that even after Zabuza asked about Naruto, Kabuto just wiped their memories again, almost like they can't even have that tiny bit of peace. I really feel for Kakashi having to face them like this after everything, it's just cruel.

Dude, Pakura's Scorch Release jutsu was absolutely wild; I literally froze when she just instantly turned those guys into mummies. It just goes to show how truly merciless some of these reanimated ninja can be when they're not holding back, and it honestly gave me chills.

Kakashi having to face down his old friends *again* just guts me, like, how many times can one person be put through that kind of pain? I just kept thinking about all the loss he's already endured, and my heart genuinely ached watching him prepare for this impossible fight.

Kakashi must feel so conflicted seeing Zabuza and Haku again, especially since Kabuto's just using their bodies like puppets against their will. It makes my stomach churn knowing everything they went through to find peace, only for it to be utterly desecrated in this awful war.

Knowing those reanimated shinobi were fully conscious but couldn't stop themselves from attacking their old friends felt like a punch to the gut. I kept imagining their internal screams as they were forced to fight, a truly agonizing fate for people who just want peace.

When Haku moved to shield Zabuza again, even as a zombie, I just felt this deep ache remembering their original, twisted bond and how truly messed up their lives were. It was heartbreaking to see Kakashi have to confront them like that, and all I could wish for was that he'd grant them the peace they never found in life.

It was such a gut punch seeing Zabuza and Haku reanimated, especially for Kakashi, who I know carried the weight of their original fight for so long. My heart ached for him having to face those memories again, like he never truly got closure before this twisted reunion.

Seeing them beg Kakashi to finish them off, still trying to protect others even as puppets, made me realize just how much their original bond truly meant.

Gari and Pakura appearing with those absolutely wild explosion and scorch release powers totally took me by surprise, making this war feel so much more dangerous than I initially grasped. It's actually kind of insane to finally see the different villages actually working together though, a desperate unity in the face of such terrifying threats.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 265 of 500, this is deep in the Fourth Shinobi World War arc, one of Shippuden's longest and most consequential stretches. The previous episode established the devastating scope of the Reanimation Jutsu, and this installment delivers on that setup by throwing the Allied Forces directly into confrontations with resurrected enemies — escalating the war's stakes and setting the stage for even more personal and large-scale battles ahead.
